I am a dj in orange county (proof bar every saturday/ the avalon bi-weekly fridays and anywhere else I can play), i lost my real job 2 months ago, and unfortunately djing barely pays and i just do it for love of the music!
Since i lost my job i havent been able to scrape together enough money from just dj'ing to make it to coachella, and this will be the first time in 4 years that i miss the festival!
My first love in life is music and bringing it to others, especially in my home of orange county, where good alternative underground music is much much needed, i give back to the music community here by busting my butt and sharing my art with anyone who will listen or dance. There are sooo many great inspirations playing at coachella this year (although people manage to hate on the lineup) and i truly love the festival for the great music and vibe...unlike the people that just go to party and hang at the beer garden the whole time
Please please please help a starving artist (literally) and true music lover out! With all thats been going wrong this would make my week/month/year!!! And what i could really bring to the table is full coverage of coachella via twitter, iphone, picture, etc of the entire festival from a musicians stand point for your blog!

I am a co-host for the Rock 'n Roll Super Show. We're a totally DIY online video show/podcast. We've secured all of band our interviews on our own and we've been able to get enough interviews to put out a show every Wednesday since Danny Krug started the show in October of 2008.

Danny created the show and I help him whenever I can. He's very passionate and he believes the only way to make your dreams come true is to create the opportunities for yourself. We mix the show with interviews with larger bands and segments on up-and-coming bands. He's all about promoting music and sharing music with a positive and fun attitude! He wants people to discover new artists, and he loves helping new acts get the exposure they deserve. He took this idea and turned it into a reality and now thousands subscribe on iTunes!
We've tried to make it to Coachella as press, but no dice. Even if we couldn't film and it, if it just gives Danny the weekend off to enjoy the music he loves and promotes so much...that would be amazing. He writes reviews on the site as well, so I'm sure the bands would all at least get some coverage that way! We can afford to travel to Coachella, but with all of our own $/resources we put into the show, the money to get tix is very limited. He treats this show as his full time job in hopes of getting sponsors to let the music promotion continue! Danny deserves to go to Coachella...and he'd probably kill me for writing this but I had to!
